SUTIKKI CONTINUES TO ADD LEADING UK PARTNERS TO ALREADY IMPRESSIVE ROSTER OF ‘MOON AND ME’ LICENSEES
Cube, Dreamtex, Kinnerton, Kokomo and Spearmark Jump Aboard the Growing List of Best in Class Manufacturers
LOS ANGELES AND LONDON – October 25, 2017 – Sutikki, the kids and family division of Bento Box Entertainment, today announced five additional UK licensing partners for Moon and Me, the new preschool series from Andrew Davenport (Teletubbies, In the Night Garden).
This adds even more quality to a rapidly expanding group of UK and EMEA focused partners for the brand. Relationships with this group of leading UK licensees follows on the news of Hasbro and Scholastic being announced as global partners for Moon and Me earlier this year. Stephen Gould, Territory Head for the UK and EMEA, in conjunction with company co-founder Andrew Kerr, are responsible for overseeing the licensing and merchandising of the property.
Today’s announce will see Cube create mobile apps and games, while Dreamtex will develop a range of bedding and home textiles for the brand. Kinnerton will produce licensed seasonal and year-round confectionery and Kokomo will create a host of health and beauty items. Finally, Spearmark will create lunch ware, tableware and drinks ware.
“We continue to partner with the industry’s best as we prepare for a comprehensive launch of Moon and Me in the UK in 2018 and beyond” said Gould.
About Moon and Me
Moon and Me (50x22’) was developed by Davenport, the creator of award-winning global preschool franchises Teletubbies and In the Night Garden. Inspired by well-loved tales of toys that come to life when nobody is looking, Moon and Me is the comical story of a special friendship between two characters from completely different worlds. Moon and Me will combine the latest production methods with traditional storytelling, comedy and music to create a beautifully constructed picture-book world especially for today’s preschoolers. Moon and Me will premiere on BBC’s CBeebies in the UK in 2018. It is being produced by Sutikki and Foundling Bird, with Sutikki overseeing global distribution and merchandise licensing.
Sutikki — Japanese for sticky — is the new kids and family division of Bento Box Entertainment. Founded in 2016 by executives Irene Weibel and Andrew Kerr, Sutikki (www.sutikki.com) creates, produces, distributes and merchandises compelling content built for today’s kids aged 2-11. Sutikki believes in the power of story and its ability to drive commercial success globally.
