Blues, Amscan, Cooneen, Misirli, VMC Accessories to Develop New Moon and Me Apparel, Nightwear, Underwear, Dress-Up and More

LOS ANGELES AND LONDON – September 27, 2017 – Sutikki, the kids and family division of Bento Box Entertainment, today announced new partnerships with four leading UK soft goods licensees for Moon and Me, the new preschool series from Andrew Davenport (Teletubbies, In the Night Garden).

Today’s announcement adds a group of industry leading partners focused on delivering best in class licensed soft goods in the UK. The growing list of Moon and Me partners in the UK join global partners Hasbro and Scholastic, who became key licensees earlier this year. These partnerships are being managed by Sutikki’s UK office under the supervision of Stephen Gould, Territory Head for the UK and EMEA, in conjunction with Sutikki’s co-founder, Andrew Kerr.

The partners announced today include Blues, who take a lead role for brand developing outerwear, daywear and swimwear; Cooneen and Misirli, who will create licensed nightwear, socks and hosiery; and Amscan (whose wholly-owned subsidiaries include Christy’s & Travis), who will produce children’s dress-up and costumes. Additionally, VMC Accessories will create a host of licensed seasonal accessories tailored to the brand.

“Moon and Me lends itself perfectly to clothing, accessories, and dress-up, and I couldn’t be more thrilled with the quality of this next group of licensed partners,” said Gould. “We will continue to bring the best licensees to the table for the brand in the weeks and months ahead as we look to ensure that the consumer product experience for Moon and Me is the best that it can possibly be in the UK and around the world”.

About Moon and Me

Moon and Me (50x22’) was developed by Davenport, the creator of award-winning global preschool franchises Teletubbies and In the Night Garden. Inspired by well-loved tales of toys that come to life when nobody is looking, Moon and Me is the comical story of a special friendship between two characters from completely different worlds. Moon and Me will combine the latest production methods with traditional storytelling, comedy and music to create a beautifully constructed picture-book world especially for today’s preschoolers. Moon and Me will premiere on BBC’s CBeebies in the UK in 2018. It is being produced by Sutikki and Foundling Bird, with Sutikki overseeing global distribution and merchandise licensing.
