Head of Territory UK/EMEA
Stephen has worked in the consumer products arena for over 28 years with 18 of these in a purist licensing capacity. He also has first hand experience of retail as well product design, sourcing and manufacturing in the Far East. He has held senior commercial and brand licensing positions with a number of intellectual property rights holders including Hit Entertainment, Zodiak Entertainment, 4Kids Entertainment, Fox Kids Europe, DreamWorks, Ragdoll Worldwide, DHX Media and CPLG.
During this time he has worked with an enviable array of blue ribbon brands and specifically within the children’s genre these include Bob the Builder; Paddington Bear; Teletubbies; In the Night Garden; Twirlywoos; Sesame Street; Care Bears; Mr Men and Little Miss; Mister Maker; Angelina Ballerina; Octonauts; Beatrix Potter; The World of Eric Carle; Noddy; Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles; Pokémon and Minions.
VP, Finance & Operations
Irene Weibel has been in the kids content business for 20 years. She most recently served as Vice President, Head of Studio for Nelvana Animation Studio. In her role as Head of Studio, Irene managed one of the busiest animation studios in the world with an average of 8 series in production and deliveries of 140 episodes annually. She served as Executive Producer on the Emmy Award Winning series Mike the Knight, Little Charmers, Scaredy Squirrel, and the two new series, Hotel Transylvania
the Television Series (Disney) and Mysticons (Nickelodeon) both premiering in 2017. Prior to Nelvana, Weibel worked in public broadcasting including WGBH Boston and KCET Los Angeles. As a Partner in Sutikki, Weibel will closely follow the creative journey of every project from development through production. Weibel is based in Los Angeles and resides in Venice.
Andrew began his career in the kids consumer producer business in Toronto, Canada in 1997. He most recently held the position of Co-Head, Nelvana Enterprises, where he oversaw all aspects of the Corus Kids distribution and merchandising business and Nelvana's brand rights in the Americas and Australasia. He worked on a number of global hits at Nelvana, including Bakugan and Beyblade, and most recently drove the re-boot of toy phenomenon Zhu Zhu Pets, which recently premiered on The
Disney Channel in the US. Before joining Corus, Kerr was EVP, Consumer Products and Marketing, International, with Entertainment Rights/Classic Media in London, UK, and prior to that Kerr was EVP Global Licensing and Marketing at Ragdoll Ltd. overseeing all global licensing and marketing initiatives for Teletubbies and In The Night Garden, as well as opening the company's first international office in New York City. As a partner in Sutikki, Kerr will oversee the distribution and merchandising of a select portfolio of brands designed to achieve commercial success. Kerr is based in Toronto.
Rob has been working in finance and business operations in the entertainment industry for 20 years. Most recently, he was with Corus Entertainment as Director, Business Development and Planning, Content, where his role included overseeing greenlights and production financing for the company's animated and live action slate, across its production, international distribution and merchandising/licensing business units. Prior to Corus, he was Director, Business Development at Alliance Atlantis
Communications and counts several years’ experience in Broadway theatrical producing and general management in New York City. As VP, Finance & Operations for Sutikki, Rob will manage all aspects of Sutikki's finance and operations, including reporting and cash flow management. In addition, Rob will be involved in all business planning for the Sutikki slate.
